Also referred to as the African Spear Plant, the Sansevieria Cylindrica is very different than the majority of its Sansevieria cultivar when it comes to appearance. While most Sansevieria have flat leathery leaves with pointed tips, the Cylindrical Snake boasts more cylindrical leaves with a softer edge.

This a simple houseplant that is extremely low maintenance and is ideal for beginner plant parents. These relaxed houseplants are tolerant of a wide variety of conditions and can survive just about anywhere, even in a space with no sunlight whatsoever. This is the perfect for basements and rooms with north facing windows that have low light conditions!

Some important Snake Plant care tips to note include planting your snake in a well-draining potting mix in a pot with a drainage hole. These plants will happily tolerate drought, but they do not enjoy excess water and soggy soil. Planting your Cylindrical Snake in a succulent or cactus blend that incorporates sandy soil is ideal. These factors are all important in avoiding the issue of root rot.

Sansevieria enjoy room temperatures above 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Your Sansevieria will also benefit from a well-balanced fertilizer blend in the growing seasons of spring and summer.

Cylindrical Snake plants are excellent in corners or areas with limited space, as they are nearly vertical with little to no horizontal branches or growth. AS an added benefit Snake Plants are known to purify the air of toxins inside homes.

So far so good. It was a little sheddy at first but then I washed it and it was fine. It is super soft even after being washed twice. Several people have commented on how soft it is and stated they thought it was a Minky couture. I washed it on gentle cycle in cold water and dried it on gentle low tumble dry. It does not seem to be shedding now. I washed it a second time and put vinegar in the rinse cycle because supposedly that is supposed to help bind the fibers or something. Still seems to be not shedding. It's probably the softest blanket I have every owned. When I wash it, I will continue to wash it on gentle in cold water and dry on either gentle low tumble dry r just air fluff. I read the heat good make the fibers loose and cause more shedding. If anything changes, I will update.
